Register and Privacy Statement

These terms of use apply to the Jalonom mobile application (hereinafter “mobile application”, “application” or “service”) provided by Jalonom Oy (hereinafter “service provider” or “Jalonom”). The service is owned and provided by Jalonom Oy, Vanha Maantie 1, 02650 Espoo, Business ID: 2406594-1.
These terms form the agreement between the service user (“user” or “customer”) and Jalonom, defining the rights and obligations of Jalonom and the customer in relation to the service.

The purpose of the application is to provide the customer with data related to the market price of precious metals, news, other content and marketing. By downloading the application, the customer accepts that Jalonom will send the customer electronic direct marketing, including offers and information on events.

By downloading or using the service, the customer acknowledges and agrees to comply with all current terms, as well as other terms and guidelines provided in the service.

Jalonom may change these terms at any time at its discretion. Any changes enter into force once they have been published in the service. By continuing to use the service after such changes have been published, the customer accepts the changed conditions.

Mobile application

The purpose of the application is to provide the customer with data related to the market price of precious metals, news, other content and marketing. The customer may also create an investment portfolio tracking changes in the value of a designated item. The purpose of the application is to provide the customer with offers, news, benefits and other content and marketing, as well as an electronic medium for using Jalonom’s services.

The service does not require registration.

Using the mobile application

Under these terms, Jalonom grants the customer a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and personal right to use the service and its contents exclusively under these terms and any other terms and guidelines provided in the service. The customer has the right to use the service and its contents only privately.

The customer does not have the right to modify or duplicate the service or its contents or part thereof. Furthermore, the customer does not have the right to share, transmit, broadcast publicly or otherwise make the service available as is or in a modified form, unless this is specifically permitted by these terms.

The customer does not have the right to use the service contrary to these terms, laws or good practices.

Service provider’s responsibilities

Jalonom reserves the right to modify or change the service or shut down the service partially or completely at any time without separate notice.

Jalonom is responsible for ensuring that any content (figures, etc.) displayed in the service is compliant with Finnish laws.

The service and its contents are provided “as is”. Jalonom is not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, errors, omissions, inaccuracies or other defects in the information or content provided through the service.

Jalonom strives to ensure that the service is continuously available and free of disruptions. Jalonom does not, however, guarantee that the service is available without interruptions, delays or errors.

Jalonom cannot guarantee the data security of the service, its content nor is Jalonom responsible for any possible viruses or malware in the electronic notifications sent via the service. Furthermore, Jalonom is not responsible for any information or content sent or received (or unsent or unreceived) by the customer via the service.

The service may not be available in all countries, and it may be available only in certain languages. The service, its functionality and certain features may depend on the compatibility of the devices used, data connections and content formats.

Jalonom is not responsible for any services, marketing or other content contained in links in the service to the websites of other service providers or services.

Any marketing and advertising provided via the application is the responsibility of the party promoting such products and services.
Jalonom is not liable for any direct, indirect, immediate or consequential damages, including any damages due to loss or interruption of business, agreement, profit or information resulting from the use of the service or its content or inability to use the service, or these terms, regardless of whether such damages are based on a breach of contract, rights, negligence or other justification, including in the event that Jalonom would have been notified of the possibility of such damages beforehand. In any event, Jalonom’s liability will be limited to the maximum liability under applicable law.

Immaterial rights

Jalonom processes and stores personal dAny image and text material (product images, text, videos, logos, charts) are the property of Jalonom and/or its partners. Unauthorised use or duplication of copyright-protected image and text material is prohibited. Jalonom does not grant the customer any direct or indirect rights to any immaterial rights.

Please read Apple and/or Google Terms of Use before using the service.
The customer should also observe any terms of network operators, device manufacturers and other third parties that may be prerequisites for using the service.

Jurisdiction and applicable law

These terms and the use of the service are subject to Finnish law, excluding conflict of laws provisions.

The parties strive to settle any disputes primarily through negotiations. In the event that a solution cannot be reached, the dispute will be settled in the District Court of Helsinki, Finland. The consumer may also resolve disputes through arbitration at a competent District Court or consumer complaint board of their domicile.
